Default Upper Radiator housing is stripped...

I went to install the tranny cooler today. Apparently, the fitting that is supposed to fit my truck didnt. It wasnt pipe threaded and when I went to crank it hard to put it on it stripped out what I thought at the time was just the fitting. I looked around town for a similar fitting and couldnt find it so I came home to hook it back up the way it was stock and two things happened...

One, I discovered that the housing is stripped.
Two, I lost the cotter(sp?)pin that goes on the end of the stock fitting to hold the tranny hose in place.

So, I dont even know where to begin to look for something like this... I need a new fitting with a cotter pin and the biggest thing is the upper radiator housing piece.. it seems to be pretty well into the radiator itself, so i'm not too sure if it'll come off... I really dont want to get a whole new radiator... i just need to get the right housing for it.

If you all need pics I got them...

Thanks.

i think there are places that make adaptors for that fitting in the rad. 18mmX6 or 8an is a couple.

thanks.. ya your right. I found a local guy that has a radiator shop and hes going to hook me up with the essentials... i had to take the radiator out and bring it to him.. picking it up in the AM. I think hes welding something... but whatever hes doing.. its obviously going to be permanet, but thats okay.. i dont plan on messing with it anymore after that
