Smile update

alright so i busted my carrier bearing on friday afternoon. i have come to the conclusion it was from driving over a curb and torquing everything a little trying to get around the locked gate at school....only 160 dollars part+labor. apparently while my mechanic was driving it around he got about a block out of the parking lot turned around and decided it wasnt safe to drive because he was afraid the drive shaft was going to fall out and tear S%^T up. there about 4 bolts holding the bearing to each shaft or something like that and the last one was still holding by about 5 threads. he said the noises i was hearing was my drive shaft doing a jump-rope motion under the truck and slapping the exhaust and bouncing everything to hell. glad to hear GM held up and that last bolt didnt snap to probably rip out the rear end and jam the other half into the output shaft. didnt get a picture because i forgot to call and ask him to save the part.
