I go to Rockauto.com and make Advance auto price match, usually saves a chunk of change.

thanks for the reply 1969X11

yeah...looking at Rock auto...they have

moog 515036 for $112 is this a tapered bearing? or twin BB i would think tapered is better, bolt circle is 4.961"

timken SP500300 tapered, bolt circle is 5.5"

I would guess the bolt circles would be the same, do you measure c-c from the widest bolt centers?

should I get a new spindle nut??

they also have the pro series anybody brave enough to try those?

thanks guys

I went with the Precision from O'Reilly on my Tahoe as I needed them quick and didn't want to chance the cheap house brand. Changed the pass hub three years ago(still doing fine) and the driver side last night. However, I did go the Timken route on my truck as I had plenty of time and ordered them from RockAuto.

Well I got them on over the weekend. Old ones came off pretty easy with a 2 lb hammer. Cleaned and filed the mate up surface used some anti seize on the race portion. It is quieter but still howls. Am thinking about getting a microphone setup so I can determine if it the front diff. or what. 140k miles

id goto rockauto.com also but if you dont have time check out retailmenot.com it has lots of discounts for partstores. you just type the store you want to use like say advance auto parts and there is different coupons. i just saved 50 bux on a gear box.
