Question Two piece drive shaft question

Does the two piece drive shaft in my truck have to go back together in exactly the same position at the carrier bearing for balance issues? I did not mark it when I took it apart and am wondering if I need to send it to a shop for balancing.

A buddy of mine pointed out that the slip joint only goes back together one way so there is no way to mess it up. Live and learn!

If it didn't line up only one way, it is important that it go back the same way. If there was a weight on it, and it was assembled 180 degrees off then it would be 2X out of balance as it was before it was even balanced. This is something very important to remember especially when changing a joint at the yoke.
