I wonder why they fail so easily...just the rod being used was too small or is there some inherent design problem?

the build quality and the solid mount is my best guess on failure. when the suspension articulates, the silid mount will bind up. it can only take so much until something gives. the caltracs and assasin bars can pivot on the spring eye preventing too much bind. think of the front bracket of a caltrac bar as a shackle. if the rear side of your leaf spring didnt have a shackle to pivot on, the ride would be extremely rough and something would eventually give.

I saw these on the net a while ago. They looked weak, and like they wouldn't help wrap. I ended up making some Caltrac knock offs that were much heavier, and a couple small changes. They were working great until my truck blew up. Lol
