A taller gear such as a 3.42 will get you into boost faster and hold it longer, a shorter gear like a 4.56 it will try to shift though the gears pretty fast and you dont want that when a load is what helps the turbo spool, when ure in boost gas milage goes to crap but if you stay outta boost it can be very conservative, i can go through every gear without getting into boost and still be moving pretty good with my 4.11's but if i hit about 2k rpms its trying to spool that bad boy up!

Exactly...my 4.10,s felt alot stronger down low but the 3.23's kill them everywhere else..truck pulls much harder..still cant accomplish these famous under 50 mph burnouts though! Lol

Well im in the same boat! Its not always a bad thing u cant do a burn out at 50mph, i have some meat under there for street tires and the ladder bar setup is unreal with traction...... Ill have to slap on the stock rims and tires to do the burn out i imagine, or just up the boost :]
