For what it is worth guys my TT3000 needle bearings burned up and Dave took it apart and made it right after 90 days (after shipping costs of that heavy *** beast as well $ $). Dave is defitinely a good business man, just keep in mind all these aftermarket parts and tunes...especially tunes, it's getting harder and harder for people/businesses like Dave to warranty stuff. Keep up the hard work Dave.

One thing that concerns me is that these converters are made for performance, correct? I mean, it's no secret that we're putting them into high HP vehicles, so it should be no surprise when we do, right?

The other thing that concerns me is that a converter going bad has the potential to take a transmission out with it, which could be extremely expensive. Perhaps there should be HP ratings on them....

I had Dave work with me on my rebuild when my tranny took a dump and he fixed me up pretty good. Hopefully my bad experiences with trannies are over for a LONG while. Goodluck to ya BigKID.

If you are building a max performance truck we have a selector on the web at http://www.converter.cc/wizard/wizard2.htm site to help your choice and we make converters that are for that!
The truck thrusters are tough converters and will handle high power very well for the price, but still have a stamped cover fotr the clutch and flexplate atachment this will not handle lock up under power for a long time as the factory style convers flex under higher than stock line pressure settings and lock up under power this distorting will cause reduced clutch contact surface and shutter in time.
As you look at converters in the market you will see that stock type and reworked converters from all suppliers will have a shorter warrenty than the Billet style performance converters

So are you saying that the increased line pressure for firmer, quicker and more solid lockups from my Transgo could be contributing to my converter failure?
