Mine has done this from day one.

One thing I have heard about the TT's is that they used to have just 2 worm gears and due to breakage they upgraded to the 3 worm gears they have now.

Mine has survived several hard launches on slicks with a manual running mid 12's

if you think a true trac is bad you should see mine shift mid corner with a locker and 4.56's.

Haven't checked the fluid level recently, but I will. No signs of leakage.

The gear guys actually recommended a locker but I wanted something with better street manners. They said the G80 was designed to keep the rear end of the truck from getting ahead of the front on wet/slippery surfaces. That's why it won't lock up once you are already rolling. After being used to the G80, I had a couple scares after the TT first went in. Now I switch to Auto 4WD whenever the roads are wet, just in case I forget about the TT in back.

Never had any squealing with my Truetrac, except when I want it to. At that point it's usually both rear tires squealing together though

My G80 does this same thing once in a while, It's obviosly Locked (totally) when it shouldn't be. I don't think your TT should be doing that. if so, you could have saved $$$$$$ and got a spool. I Plan on getting a TT, But if it does that then maybe I should get somthing else....

i never had an issue with my last true trac although it was in a dodge 9.25 rearend. i went with a locker this time just to be different. but i would never get a spool for a daily driver. i see people talking about getting a spool and thats great for the track but i cant see how that is enjoyable for a vehicle you drive everyday.
