Default TrueTrac and JL4 Active brake control

Is anyone with an AWD Escalade or Denali with JL4 active brake control running a truetrac in the rear? On paper it seems like the two would complement each other very well but I don't want to waste the time or money on an install if there is something I'm missing or if the two would end up fighting each other.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

What year vehicle? I recall 03 or 04 SUVs 4x4 didn't come with a G80, for some odd reason. IDK if that also affected AWD though. Hopefully someone can chime in on your question.

GMT800 Escalade and Denali. There was no option for a g80 with these as GM use JL4 to try and limit wheel spin.

The "idea" was, with the active electronic deal, no need for a mechanical one.

Can't see any reason you couldn't use a mech one as well; just, then, the electronic system will manage any excess spin that DOES occur. Nothing can "fight" anything; after all, it's not like one or the other is going to try to MAKE a wheel spin, or any such. The one prevents it by distributing power, the other manages it by applying the brakes to a wheel that DOES spin, in spite of whatever else is going on to control it, including nothing at all.

Thats kind of what I was getting at that on paper they appear to complement each other, just doing a sanity check that I'm not missing something.

surprisingly it wasn't making any noise and was greeted with that on teardown. I have torn down diffs that made a TON of noise and bearing looked better than that one.
