Default truck wont go!!!

Im driving my truck down the road today and see I have the engine light on, figure its one of two things Ive been dealing with latly, so Im driving for about another 10-15 miles and go to give it gas after turning down a road, It reved up to about 5k rpm, that wasnt good.
I get out of it, continue rolling, normal throttle...it happens again. I stopped on the side of the road. waited and then went...it went fine from this stop and just started doing it all over further down the road, I limp it to a close parking lot, had to see if 2nd third worked put in those gears....same outcome...slipping. got it to the lot ....

Now if I put it in ANY gear it bucks and stalls....I havent hooked up to diagnostic yet to see the code, but maybe a code is causing this?
or is my tranny toast?
Anyone with similar experiance.....Im a little upset, the truck only has 3000 miles on it, did the cam and tranny around 1500 miles.

I dont mean to scre ya man but to me it sounds like the tranny. I know blue cajun had something similar to that happen to him after he put his stall in and he had to rebuild his tranny.

I think you need to take it to autozone, and see what those codes are..... Is the computer tuned?

It's probably a Stuck shift solenoid B circuit. You can disconnect the battery when it happens and it'll reset the code and you'll drive like normal. The code locks you out of certain gears, I.e 1st, 2nd.

no codes for the tranny came up, I just had one of the normal codes I keep getting (we'll tune that out).
From what Ive been reading and what some machanics have been telling me, Im pritty certin its the converter, I tried calling Fuddle yesterday and had to leave a message. Im gonna post up on tech to see If I can get a response from them on there. If not. Im sure I'll get in touch with them on monday.

The transmission will go into limp mode due to large converters sometimes. Something about solenoid B malfunction is what normally comes up. The PCM detects extreme amounts of slippage and then locks out 3rd and 4th gears. Sometimes you can turn the engine off for a minute and restart it and all will be fine.
