Truck slows down before 1-2 shift? anyone??

Default Truck slows down before 1-2 shift? anyone??

rebuilt tranny this weekend now i feel like my truck slows down before the 1-2 shift.. any ideas y? rt before the shift it slows down a bit then it shifts..

maybe your shifts are set too high. who rebuilt your transmission?

i haven't had it wot.. this is just on regular driving... rebuilt was done my my cousin who's a mechanic.. only thing we did different was swap the hd-2 springs on the 1-2 accumulator to the stock ones because before my tranny took a dump it has hard shifts..

It should pull to that rpm, I'd have the transmission guy take a look into it. DId it act like that before the trans?

so at part throttle it "slows down" then shifts. im no tranny builder so i cant help, but maybe the things you put back to stock cant shift as fast as it needs to. you could put everything back in and just reduce the pressure in your tune?

Your probably gonna have to have justin retune it for head work and tranny work

exactly what i was thinking.. the tune is set up for the hd-2 shift kit so mayb softening up the springs caused the transmission not to shift as fast altho the tune thingks its going to shift fast because it set up for the harder springs.. makes perfect sence.. i will have my tuner make some adjustments.
