Yes, its the chevy lean. All the trucks tend to sit lower on the drivers side, some noticable, some not.

I thought there was a spring spacer gm had that lifted the drivers front and ultimately leveled the truck. You could also use a lowering shackle set on the 1" hole on the passenger side of the truck. Only other option is to cut the passenger coil a little at a time until its level.

Mine had it too. I just ended up cutting about a 1/4 of a coil out of the passenger side when I lowered it. It still rides nice and solved the lean problem.

Yea I'm gonna be putting my 3" shackles back on ,took'em off so they would'nt give me any s#$% about warranty work,But yea I think I'll offset'em when I reinstall 2" hole on driverside and 3" hole on passenger side...if that don't do it I'll cut the coil... thanks guys

Gas tank, ABS module, battery, and driver all on the drivers side. Yes it will lean. New springs will help some, or some spacers.

You can either trim the high side coil, or add a spacer to the low side.

eibach makes a bushing that goes above your drivers side front spring to fix the problem. it only costs about $40, i'll see if i can find the link for you.

Subject: Left Front of Vehicle Sits Low - keywords alignment appearance body fender spring suspension #PIT3281A - (12/13/2005)

Models: 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado

1999-2006 GMC Sierra

2 Wheel Drive Models Only

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:
Left front of vehicle sits low.

Recommendation/Instructions:
Measure front trim height keeping in mind that the trim height tolerance is .5" difference side to side. Verify that the vehicle is equipped with the correct production front springs. You should measure the standing height of both front springs to ensure that they are equal height. Check "z" height measurements as per SI. After determining that the above checks do not influence the concern, install a front spring upper insulator, P/N 15756770 in the lower control arm spring pocket. Install 1 insulator at a time and measure the change between installations. A maximum of 2 insulators per spring pocket may be used.

Please Note: The steering alignment and headlight aim must be checked if the vehicle ride height was changed.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
