Default transmission help please.

Okay I've installed a pi converter and tci flex plate and an 4l65e.
when I turned on the truck to check the oil level I hear a loud rattling sound coming out of the transmission. LIke a coke can is inside the torque and transmission getting tossed around. What the hell is it?

Are you sure you got all of the converter bolts tightened down? Also, did you put a quart of fluid in the converter before you seated it? Was it seated completely so that the converter and flexplate could spin freely from each other before you bolted them together?

yeah the bolts where put on tight. And when I bolted the trany to the motor there was about 1/4inc between the tqcovert and the flywheel. put 1qt or oil in the tqconveter.

1 quart should have been enough in the converter. You sure nothing is touching the flexplate when it spins? Is the starter seated and operating correctly? Also - was the TCI flexplate dished like your stock one? If not - did you install a spacer between it and the crank?
