Wow!!! Some of yalls statements are wrong to every point. I ran a borg warner case for over a year and made over 550 to the wheels with my setup and my truck never bucked or bounced. It will barely haze the front tires sometimes or if i left with too much boost but 99.9% it would just squat and haul a$$. Go look at my 7psi video. You will see how much it "bucks and bounces". You can hear it barely spin and shoot to 50mph.

It might have been cause it was factory. Cause mine never bucked and i have tons of people that can prove it. Im not going back with it cause i was told by my trans guy to go with the 243 and cause they dont sell a 32 spline input shaft for it. Here is a video for those that that havent seen it.

looks like you were fighting the wheel a bit there. mine around 2-3 pounds of boost on the launch wasn't too bad. looked about like that. but up around 7-10 it was rediculous. mine was factory too. i like the 149 cause its way more seamless. through the mud its way better also. the borg warner in the mud you could hear the abs going crazy. but with the 149 it just goes....

from my experience with the power level im at now is . i wish it was a 4wd selectable . reason is guaranteed 50/50 front and rear. only have to worry about the open front diff. which if locked could go real bad if you get sideways , steering will be tough with the front locked. good thing is they dont make anything for my wee 8.25 front end so i havent gone down that road. though i have heard of some tru tracs in front helping awd/4wd drag vehicles.
when i was @ 600 or so hp . the awd case owned . being my truck had the 149 i was lucky. basically it is a 38/62 front /rear power split under normal conditions , if either axle see's traction loss it can send 100% power to the opposing axle via viscous coupler.
here is a detailed explanation on the nvg149

with that said , to install it in the 2500 , you would need the input gear from tim2kill on ss or ead iirc.
it may need some new legnths driveshafts and you would have to make your front diff open , basically when 4wd isnt engaged it runs like this . not sure if it would act as a limited slip or unlimited slip in the 9.25 front end though.
a 4wd swap would be pretty easy but no walk in the park as you may add the wiring , or get a 4wd harness and swap in . the t -case (at least the 149 ) has one speed sensor and could probably be made to work with the same output sensor on your 2wd trans.
you may need some tuning , but not sure if hpt/efi would be able to delete all codes since some may be in the abs.
