Default Transfer Case options???

Hey guys i just bought an 05 CCSB Silverado 2500HD 4X4 with 6.0 and 4l80E trans....

I might be puting a turbo on it in the future.... what are my options for beefing up the transfere case? I cant seem to find any info on this!

I know the 4l80E is a stong trans and takes very little modifications to handle big power.... also the rear should be fine also i assume lol... I basically can handle everything except dont know what to do about the transfer case!

looking to make 650-700hp....

Thanks for your help guys!

Good to know! Nice truck btw....

Mine is a work in progress, got it cheap! Lol

What is the weak link in the driveline then, the DS? I'm just afraid if I launch off some boost in 4wd I'm gonna kill the transfer case lol. I'm not looking to make it really fast or anything I've been there and done that when I turbo'd my ta. Just looking for some more power as I plan on putting some big tires on.

Well the HDs come pretty well equipped from the factory. Weakest thing would be the front suspension, especially if you launch in 4wd with big power. Tie rods are known to break pretty easily.

If you have a "autotrac" T-case id swap to a non auto one...4wd launches will wear the clutches out alot faster in a auto...
