Is that torx plus the one with the hole in the middle?
years ago working on a 02 denali I had the pan off while prying the connector off the EPS I shorted it out,I had left the key on,it went back together and noticed no tach and engine light on.I blown a fuse, cant remember what the trans acted like, figured it out before coming off the hoist.

1/8 to 1/4 inch... More than that you need washers! Can also measured installed height before mating the trans to the engine should be about 1 1/8 from face of bel housing to pads

So I have not updated this but as I stated above I took the trans out and took it to our local Aamco shop and they fixed replaced the stator and input shaft due to they were completely wrong the way this was explained to me was. The pump is a early style and the stator and input shaft are of a newer style and the holes in the 2 don't line up and my convertor was not getting fluid as it should be. So my head is spinning at this point so I pay 521.00 get the transmission back put it in and it goes forward I'm like awesome I get my truck back....... then I put it in reverse and nothing WTF I call Aamco and they tell me oh we didn't look at the reverse clutches! When I went in so they could explain what was wrong with my trans they had my transmission completely apart on the bench at that time I ask is that all it needs! Well guess not so I have no reverse. I am now in this trans all most 2 grand with only forward gears! And I've done all the r&r work. I'm about to look for a used 4L80e then I realized the 450.00 stall in the 4L60e
