i took my truck by the chevrolet house today to see what they would say about the way it is acting. (rolling back when on drive & stalling real bad off the line) they said it sounds like the clutches are fried in my 4L60e they also told me that the warranty wouldnt cover it with the 22" rims. they said i would need to put the factory rims back on. bad news is i bought the truck with 18X9.5.

what is the cost difference in a 4L60e and a 4L65e and would it be possible to talk the chevy house into putting one in instead of the 4l60e. also has anyone else had similar problems. oh yeah instead of babying it i turned the shift pressure all the way up and the shift time all the way down. my thoughts are if you are going to break it you should brake it real good

 

 

yeah it is a hella of alot of fun with tranny turned all the way up. i also found from 60-90 my truck out runs our crownvic cop cars
