I would remote mount it and use a fan on like you want. This way you dont transfer heat into your intercooler system.

After reading all posts, I just ordered my Tru Cook 40K 47391 and will bypass my facorty one in the rad. Tranny staight to cooler. It so hot in texas anyways, time I wake up this allready in the 90's! When it gets cold just wait till it warms up.

here my tru-cool 40k on my NNBS.. i think you have enough space for ur intercooler+tranny cooler..

I think i need one ,my trans temp reaches about 200f in my area i am going to install the tvs 1900 before the end of this year what size and part number do i need for this cooler?

i purchased 4 of them already for me and friends from ebay

there is a guy who sell them for $101 , its the cheapest price i believe and the guy is great to deal with

here is the part description :
