Default Trans Cooler mounted...need help connecting

I got the perma-cool transmission cooler mounted tonight. I was gonna hook it up, but ran into a couple of problems. First, the nuts on the radiator that connect to the metal tubing wouldn't budge. Is there a trick to getting these off? Also, what size wrench do you use?
When I do get all that figured out, does the top metal tubing connect to the top tubing of the trans cooler and the bottom metal tubing to the bottom tubing of the trans cooler?
Should I put any tranny fluid in the tubing or cooler to avoid air in the lines or will it work itself out?

Check out what it looks like----> Go to the link in my sig and click on My Albums (picture of my ported TB) and go to the last 3 pictures. Let me know what you think.

No wrench needed to get the lines out of the radiator. There's a plastic cover that you can pull back, then a C-clip underneath that comes off, then you just pull and the line should come out.

Worked like a charm, Thanks! I spent about 15 minutes last night struggling with a wrench

I connected everything and no leaks, the tranny seems a little firmer especially the 1-2 at wot. I didn't think I'd be able to tell a difference at all.
