Default trans cooler line size?

What is the od of the cooler lines? 3/8"? I would go look, but im at work and the truck is at home... im getting a tubing union from work so i can installall my tru cool 40k tomorrow. Thanks in advance

5/16" is what you will need.

No, They are 3/8.

I just installed my Tru-Cool and used 3/8 stainless swedgelock compression fittings on my cooler lines.

Sorry if my info was incorrect. But I just went into my box in the garage and looked at both a 5/16" and a 3/8" steel lines. The 3/8" line looks huge and I honestly do not not remember the lines being that big. I would go open up my hood on my truck or crawl under it but there is snow in the air here this morning. I'll take a look around the shop when I get in today to see if I have some laying around to make a reference. Vince
