If you have cut tranny cooler lines you might have a problem with warranty work. But it never hurts to ask, they might work on it. Sounds like your tranny is slipping, are you sure you added enough fluid?

Start your truck and let it idle to get up to normal temp. Check your tranny fluid level with it in park, add fluid if you need to. With brake applied move shifter slowly through the gears all the way down to first. Making sure you feel each engagement of that particular gear. Then starting from first move it through each gear again and stop in park, check your fluid level again. You may have to repeat this process a couple of time to get the level right. Once you get a good reading of the fluid level button it all up and take it around the block, drive slow to feel each gear as it shifts. Pull over and check the fluid level, if that is good get it on the highway and see how that goes.

I'm no tranny expert, but this is the process I use when I changed my torque converter.

Good deal, glads to hear it's working. I'm sure you prolly knocked some of the life off of it, but it'll give you reason to buy an FLT later on!!!!!
