They arent a sponsor over here

They basically told me that it must have been lost in the mail and I am out a converter. Its been 2 1/2-3 months since I sent it and have called atleast a dozen tiems and nothing is going to be done about it. I really dont beleive it was lost in the mail. I think someone there jacked for their own since I didnt have a tracking number on it. TCI converters SUCK plain and simple they cant hold up to the weight of our trucks or any decent amount of hp. I went ahead and boiught a Fuddle even before I had sent the TCI back cause I didnt want to have to be pulling the TC again in 6 months. My TC lasted from beginning of April to I believe it was the beginning of september so not long for "high quality" stall. I was just going to get them to fix it then put it in the classifieds as basically a brand new stall but I got screwed. Point blank the moral of the story is dont by POS TCI converters

FYI they did nothing but go "Well I dont see it back there and nothing comes up when I try and look it up by your zip code and tel. #" click

I fyour convert is indeed fried I highly recommend the Fuddle converter. I havent had time to long term test it. My truck ahs been down twice since I have had it due to unrelated problems and it is once again down waiting on its new motor but I guarantee the new setup will test it

i've been thinking about going with a different converter like you said and have the tci fixed and sell it.

first time yes i was under warranty, got a new one and sold it, second time i had bought it then installed it 3 months later, it failed 3 months after that, i explained that to them and they took it in,

i knew it was the converter cause all it would not do is not lockup, not even with hptuners forcing it. i would feel some sort of little kick like it wanted to, but it would not, when i got the new one in, all was back to normal.

shop called today. said they hooked up scanner but it didn't throw any codes. i still don't have any ses lights either. next thing they'll do is go for a spin with the scanner hooked up and see what it does and maybe drop the pan. they checked the dipstick and the fluid was red.
do yall think since the converter isn't locking up that it could be a tuning problem? they wanted me to find that out. thanks guys... lance
