Ok, i just went to lonestar racing and the guy there told me not to just plug the gauge into the tranny like from the factory. he said that i should have a t installed on the tranny line with the gauge sender attached to it. anyone think one is better than the other? also, if i have the line cut should i go ahead and have the cooler put in also. thanks

A lot of us have installed the Auto meter Trans guage, and have pluged in the sender that is included with the guage in the plugged off port right above the shift linkage..
reads very accurately there, compared this with Autotap.
