Default Tranny swap ????

Ok guys so I hope to have the new trans here along with a verter by the end of the month. I have the truck on the lift, already pulled the exhaust off this pig. Question is is there any tricks to getting the old tranny out. Would it be easier to take the intake off in order to get to the top trans bolts? Or is there enough room to get in there with a uni's and extensions?. I havn't really looked, hope a few could chime in and give me a few tips or tricks.

As always thanks
John

take the intake off. This will make the top three bolts very easy to get to.

swivel 15mm with a LONG extension. 4ft extension iirc? We had my old one out and new one in within 45 minutes with air tools.

when i rebuilt mine, i took it off with just extensions and a swivel with the 15 deep socket, but taking the intake would probably make it easier, but it can be done either way.
