so lately my tranny has been acting up, basically only on down shifts...

when i go WOT sometimes itll be like 2 secs maybe 3 secs before it kicks down,( kinda feels like im slowly rolling into it, even tho im at WOT)
and even when it does it doesnt kick down hard. it just down shifts and slowwwwlly accels.

The other part of the time, ill go WOT and it downshifts hard and feels like i breaking the tires loose, but im not, then it finally will accel hard... then maybe once a day itll down shift and accel hard like it used to

any ideas of what its doing or why its acting up?

 

...and sometimes it will down shift at WOT and then up shift right away.

 

what gear are you downshifting to, 3-2, 2-1? Need alittle more info,

 

thanks derek forgot about this one too.. itll down shift slowly gain maybe 200rpm then up shift again..

im almost positive its the 3-2

 

on the 2-1 at WOT it like slips and will rev to 5k rpms or so and then finally start going..this doesnt happen every time tho.

 

yea but the 2-1 doesnt **** up nearly as often as the 3-2

hope not, since it only has minor mods at 44k miles on , tho i know that doesnt matter with a 60e, but itll suck since its my only transportation and i cant afford a tranny..maybe i can get them to replace it tho its outta warr, ive had some **** done outta warr already

 

well i un did the battery for a little over an hour tonight, and it seemed to have helped some( tho it could be all in my head)..acted up once or twice but not as often as it was. but one thing i didnt understand is i figured with the battery being off for an hr that the clock/presets/trip/MPG would all be reset. but they were all still there when i hookd it back up
