Tranny shifting question

If I put it down in first and drive the truck normal it shifts into second. Is this supposed to do this. Not that it's a big deal just want to know. Thanks much.

The Transgo shift kit makes the tranny stay in the gear. Without the shift kit, it shifts to another gear.

mien is stock and stays in first for aslong asi want last tije i didint notice and i was going 50 doin adonut in first hope it dididnt damge the tranny.

Speaking of damage I think my tranny is on it's way. Oh well it's just money i guess. That I don't have.
