Default Tranny rebuild kit

Would this be a good "high performance rebuild kit" for a 4l60e?:

This 4L60E, 4L65E high performance kit includes a complete gasket and seal set,*HI-ENGERY lined 2/4 band, teflon lined pump bushing,*case bushing, filter and complete set of ALTO Red Eagle powerpacks. Most kits you will see only have the powerpack for the 3/4 clutches. Our kits have all of the clutch packs made with the Red eagle material and Kolene steel plates.

I know I would still have to get the 5 pinion bearing to make it stronger. The price for the kit is $255? Let me know what you think.

I would price it out at PTP transmission on Airline. Thats where I got my parts omy last 60e build I would get a beast sunshell as well. Watch out for the fake 5 pinion planetaries. When I did mine I only got the rear planetary.

What was the pricing on all the stuff? You have part numbers? Why did you just do the rear planetery and not both?

I don't have any part #'s my tranny builder said I only needed the rear one.
I called PTP and the rear planetary(Not including ring) gear is 110
The rest of the kit was about 265, you may also the rear seal. You would save 10 bux & taxes.

Go on LS1tech and sift through the sponsors that do transmissions, there's a half dozen if not more, and prices are usually listed on their site, or just call.
