Hey guys/gals,

Just wanted to see what coolers you guys were running and which one is preferred. also what all the parts costed and ease of install. Thanks-Mike

On My 08 Without Tranny Cooler It Would Get Up To 216 Degrees-scary- I Bought A Hayden 40 GVW From Local Auto Parts 4 About 50.00 -now It Stays170- 180-190 THE MOST IN THIS HOT TX WEATHER

TRU-COOL 40k gvw is what was rec to me, so I went with it, it cost me $120 but I see it as cheap ins, compared to the cost of a new trans. I havn't got above 150, thats with a 3200 verter, alot of stop and go in 90+..

and is that with it still running through the factory cooler in the radiator?

Good question, did you bypass the radiator or add to it?

I added a big tru-cool in addition to the radiator. Mine runs about 180*, I think you want some heat to help water evaporate out of the fluid.
