I want to replace my part time tranfer case with a full time one speed transfer case. The truck will only be driven on the street and the transfer case has to be able to handle a 540 BBC with a procharger. Is there one that will work?

 

I switched to a 07 AWD unit and it is awesome on the street. Very smooth power delivery with no binding while turning.
But then again I am not making supercharged BBC torque either.

 

Sounds good. Do you know what the model # of the transfer case is?

Mine is an NP203 which is not AWD. I want an AWD (full time) transfer case so I'll have traction on the street with the power my motor will have. It's going to be a super-fast street truck.
