Default trailblazer stall

i know people use the tb i6 converter all the time behind a 5.3 for a little more stall, suposedly around 2600, but has anybody ever used oned from autozone or adanced? they are around $150 but i dont know if the are the same as the $240 from gmparts. i know the advanced one is prolly reman but will it still hold up and stall the same?

I would not buy a converter from either of those companies. With not knowing who is remaning them I would be scared to install one. The one from gm parts is more than likely a solid piece. Or I would looking to a budget converter from Chris @ Circle D and call it a day. I have been very happy with using his products and his service is always great.

I have one from advanced auto parts. It is made by pro king and comes with a one year warranty. If you go to pro kings website you can find what process they do for their converters. Also if you go to retail me not and type in advance auto parts you can find coupon codes. I paid $100 plus tax for mine and turned my old one in for the core charge. I put about 8k hard miles so far and it stalls at 2600 every time. I dynoed 361hp and 338 torque with my 5.3 swapped trans am. So I'd say its holding up just fine.

Does anyone have a part number for the tb converter? Iwas also thinking of doing one for my daily driver.
