Default Traction issues.

I have a LQ9 with cam, headers, 3 inch exhaust, built 65e, yank sc2800 stall, TVS1900, with 2.80 pulley, 2/4 drop, 4.10 gears, 05 gmc ext cab Sierra, with caltracks traction bars.

I use to have 3.73 before the s/c. On n/a I got the 4.10s.

I tried on some nittos 555r on 18s and I couldn't hook, I tried dropping the air pressure and loosening up the bars and slowly adjusting them tightening them up.

But I still can't hook! Is it cause the 4.10s or what can be my problem??
Thanks.

On the track?

Are you drag racing?

What is the powerband of the motor?

Not familiar with those tires, but are they drag tires?

Have you tried raising the bars to the top hole in the front of the caltracs?

In the street.

Haven't tried moving the traction bars yet. But there almost even with the ground. And on my 20's tires can't hook with the nittos 420s. Lol.

Not sure about the power band.
The nitto 555r are sopose to be drag tires. 305/45 r18
Yep. Drag racing. Lol.

I raced a built lightning on a roll. I was pulling a lil bit. But had to let off due to traffic. Then I tried a dig. And I just sat there spinning.
