Mines on 305/40/22's with 3.73 gears. Winds it up pretty good running 75-80 if it drops out of overdrive, but usually just sings right along locked up in 4th.

The most important things when it comes to having a stall and towing are having a big cooler, a good tune, and an appropriate stall speed. However, lots of other little things come into play. I have seen guys with 3400 stalls tow 8000lbs on a weekly basis without a problem. By the same token I have seen guys with 2600 stalls burn up their trans. The key is everything must be inline and have your bases covered.

Well said..... The tune, gearing, and cooler play a big part - not just the size of the converter. Keeping the trans cool is the key.
