Got my replacement verter and new flexplate in from PI. It's a long story and detailed in another thread.
Anyway, I've found torque specs for the flexplate to crank. 15-37-74 lb/ft. Three passes. Torque converter to flex plate at either 44 or 46 lb/ft. Do these sound right? Should I lock tite the torque converter bolts?
Second go around for pulling the trans is a lot easier. Took me 3 hours to get the trans out and flex plate off. Was like 8 hours the first time.
TIA for any input.

Those specs for the flexplate to crank are right. The converter to flexplate sounds right but, I don't know for sure. I just tightened them as tight as I could get and put a small spot of locktite on them too. Don't want those suckers backing out.
What did you get a new verter and flexplate for? I have been outta the loop lately.

Oh, ok. If I decide to restall this verter later on I'll talk to Jack about changing the bolt pattern. The only thing is that it looked like the 6.0L flexplate uses a large GM pattern that is 11.5"
I just said screw it and drilled the crap outta the plate.
