Default Torque Converter going out???

New here hi all! Anyways on my 02' sometimes when i come to a stop it feels like someone jumped into the bed at like 10 miles an hour comin to a stop. sometimes it does it when im at a stop light stopped and let off the brake to move up a couple inches. sometimes i look in the rear view mirror wondering if someone just taped my rear end. Hard to describe feels like someone almost barely rear ended me basically. Is it my toqure converter not unlocking on time or whatt?

Last time i checked yea. but its been a lil while guess it would be an easy place to start. im also wondering if it was in the valve body. but if it was there you would think it would do it everytime. I figured maybe the tune because there is so many variances that everything is connected to somehow or another.
