I would go Circle D from personal experience. Chris is always quick to answer questions and is an active forum member so I have even contacted him via PM and he has responded within a day or so. I can understand money being an issue though......

Im only gonna do this once(hopefully) and i am hoping this one is gonna last this time.... Have too much in this truck at this point to spend anymore than i have to but if the better converter is the circle d thats the way i am going to go.... Even if it is more expensive.... About to tirn my current full time job into part time and take a job at a dealership if money is right so.... Once household is caught up, the rest of my truck parts are next... Got paint job getting ready to reshoot, so that should keep me fairly occupied next few weeks between the jobs and the truck, and i may have a 2wd transmission to build that will give me some extra so hopefully it wont be too much longer now!!!
