I lock my triple-disk up at WOT all the time. I've done it hundreds of times. No issues.

The one thing you may not like is the sharp jerking you sometimes get when it locks, even at light throttle. It even makes my belt squeak. But for racing, it is king. Especially 3rd gear lockup. I'm building a tune that will use lockup in 3rd as a 4th gear, so to speak.

Yep. I will pop the tires loose on the 1-2 shift and then they break loose again if the 2-3 shift and TCC apply happen at the same time.

Hey swift you ever locked up at the track? Wanna toss in your .02 over here --> https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ock-up-520277/

As far as single vs. multi... i was also on the fence. I think its all personal preference, your build, and how you plan to use it. No real right answer here.

Can you tell us a little more about your truck outside of the HP #'s?

I am not making the kind of power you make but I went from a 278 to a multi 245 and what a difference it makes locking in 3rd. truck pulls WAY harder then it used to.
mine chirps the belt when it locks in OD

I just ordered a 3400 quadraloc from PATC to see how it does. Probably keep my same unlocked tune to help tranny live though.

Seems they built it to compete with Circle-D.

With 4 discs I'd be worried about something dragging. That doesn't leave a whole lot of room.
