Default Torque Converter

2001 GMC 4.8 4X4,4.10 Gears, corv servo, transgo shift kit. What converter would be a good choice without losing the ability to use the truck for towing?

Get a yank Truck Thruster. They are designed to retain the stock towing capacity. If you tow alot go with the 2800 if not 3000

I tow with my PI Vigilante stalled to about 2500. Retains full tow rating.

I'd also say somewhere around a 2500-2800. Don't forget the tranny cooler.
