Default Too much positive camber.....Help

I have a 2000 ECSB Z-71. I have had the truck for most all of it's life. I have never been satisfied with the front end alignment on it however.

I installed a 3 in body lift, and 35x12.50 17 Pro Comp Xterrain tires in March of 03. I ran the first set for about 40k before buying this set. Both times I had the front end aligned, and even had the idler and pitman arms replaced. This past time, I even had the inner tie rods replaced.

The problem is I am getting wear on the outer edge of my front tires. I know why as well. The tops of my tires are pushed out to the point that it's easily noticeable, even to the eye. The place that I always go to said it was within spec, and it still looks this way. There's no way this can be right. What have you guys noticed when it comes to the front tires relating to camber? IMHO, I would think they should be pretty close to square with the ground, much like the rear tires. Or at least not noticeable to the naked eye

Have you thought about getting somewhere else to align your truck??? Your camber should be close to 0 deg as you can get it. If it is you wont be able to see it.

if its noticeable to the eye its not right. also, if its toe'd in bad it will look like positive camber and also wear the tires on the outside edge

Yes, I have thought about taking it somewhere else. The thing is I know the owner of the place really well, and he told me if it wasnt like I wanted, to bring it back and we would go more by eye since it's falling into the specs he has.

Before I took it back, I wanted to have some insight from some of you guys. I'll prolly give him a shout tomorrow. The tires still have a ton of tread left, and I don't want them to get ruined like the last set because of mis-alignment.

Thanks guys. Any other comments/suggestions are more than welcome.

I took the truck back to the same place last week. Basically, there isnt enough adjustment left to get the camber correct. He said something about there being some camber plates that can be bought and installed. Any of you used those? This sucks cause my truck doesnt have anything more than a body lift, so you would think it wouldn't be a problem to get it properly aligned.
