hankook ventus. Just got a set of 275/45/20 and they hook nice and corner well. I also have nitto 404's on the tahoe that are wearing great and hold the road well. I have had toyos in the past and they handled well but wore out pretty quick. I would say the hankooks are in line with the toyos......just cheaper. I paid $140 a tire at discount. Not bad for a v-rated 420AA tire.

I'd be interested in hearing how those Hankook's wear over time. I've heard mixed reviews on them - some good, some bad. The price is certainly right.

time will tell. I usually like to get at least 35k out of a tire......although I have been known to drive a little on the aggresive side That might explain why the tires on the hoe have lasted sooooo long. No real point in driving a tahoe hard

I know the grip is there with the hankooks. I went from a 32" goodyear LS (275/55/20) to a 29.5" hankook and I have a harder time getting the hankooks to turn over than I did the big tires whatever that is worth. They are smooth and quiet too......well so far anyways.
