Default Tire Pressure Sensors?

I didnt know where to put this thread so feel free to move it. My question is, does anyone know how I can tell if my new truck has tire pressure sensors or not? Its an 06 Crew Cab Vortec Max. I just ordered new wheels and need to know if ill have to dismount the current tires and wheels to get to the tire sensors.

Thanks

have you checked the factory window sticker? also from what I'm told you can scroll to read them if you have the DIC (with steering wheel controls)... maybe check your owners manual for more information on the reset etc of them, if you can't access the reset then you pobably don't have them

None of the Chevrolet or GMC truck models come with this option.
Only the SUV's & Avalanche's have that option.
You cannot add it to your truck either.
The only option that might work would be a stand alone aftermarket unit.
I doubt it is worth it though. I check my air pressure every week or two with a regular old school tire pressure gauge. Seems to work well and easy for me.

Ok well thats good to know. I dont want the damn things, i was just making sure before i switch wheels that they wont be a problem. My moms tahoe has them and i didnt think about it, put new wheels on and sold the stockers so now when you start the truck it says tire pressure error or something like that. Thanks for the good info.
