Default Tire choices

I cant decide on my next set of tires. I'm looking at either a Toyo Proxas II in a 285/60R17, or the Yokohama Geolander A/T in a 285/65R17. Im thinking the Toyos will be too short with the 4.56 gears. What would yall run.

Nitto trail grappler a/t 285/70/17 or in a 295/70/17. Nice tire for the money.

if you wanna go faster id try and find the lightest tire with the least rolling resistance. assuming you dont wanna go smaller since your riding around with 4.56's. i know thats not a lot of help but thats how i would shop lol.

Andy what RPM do you cross the line at? You also gotta figure with the blower your trap speed will probably be in the mid 100 teens. You dont want a tire that will force you to shift into 4th gear. You probably can't afford to go much shorter than a stock tire with that gear/converter combo

The 285/65 are about 44#, my current tires are about 56#. I may end up dropping down to 4.10 if I have to. Thanks for the input guys.

One of my coworkers is selling a set of stock 17" denali rims and tires for 300. Tires are 265/70R17. Yall think their worth it? They about 60# each. That's a drop of 1.4" and 8#.

Looks like bridgestone made 2 types of the revo2. One is 56# the other is 46#. Not sure which one I have.
Found a pirelli scorpion str in a 275/65r17. 31" tall. Weighs 41#. I may go with this one.
