Default Time for new Shocks??

I have a 2000 Silverado 2wd and factory height with 2" shackles. I need some new shocks and was wondering what you guys recommend. I am looking for something that will give me the best ride quality. I want it to ride like a Cadillac!!

Go with a set of Bilstein's, they're a top of the line shock. I just ordered some this week, they should be on by the weekend.

Bilstein is the worst shock you can get if your goin for comfort.
There a sport shock not a ride like a cadillac shock.

So what would you suggest? What about the Edelbrocks?

These have molded in reliefs in the tube that make for a comfortable ride. Then when you get to the outer limits of travel, the grooves go away and you have a firmer shock. I'd like to try either these or edelbrocks when my spring oscillation dampers go out.

Default Shocks

I recommend the EDELBROCK IAS or the NITRO Drop shocks from Belltech.

The KYB Monomax shocks will be your best bet for ride comfort and handling.
The Belltech Nitro-Actives will come in after them.
