I reused them on all my trucks.If you have a hitch on the back take it off to avoid having to cut them.Here is a post I made when I did mine.

reused mine.you shouldnt have to totally remove the trailer hitch if you have one i was able to just loosen the bolts enough to get enough room to remove the shakle bolts.good luck

Cool, thanks for all the replies Hopefully I'll be able to afford some tires this spring so I can go ahead with my lowering project. No trailer hitch to worry about either.
