those running a p.i. 4l6x converter
are you using a 9.5 or a 10.5? and were any spacers require when mating to the flywheel?
reason asking is a broke the pump hub on my old precison twice and im wondering if it was possibly spaced incorrectly.

very strange, i wonder why my hub kept breaking on me? i dont see any other reason. ive seen a couple other precision 10.5's do this as well.

How old is it? I bought one a couple years back and the hub cracked and was pissing fluid everywhere. I sent it back under warranty and they replaced the whole converter and said they had an updated design. This was about a year ago, and now I am leaking fluid again from the hub, so I'm guessing its cracked again. Although i have never fully broken one off. I have no spacers either.

mine was always a major break to where the pump wouldnt spin and the truck had no gears and got me a gold AAA membership . its been about a year and i have pulled my current converter out 3 times and cant get the stall speed right , so i want to go back to a precision and hope it doesent break , i had a 10.5 and plan to go to a 9.5 this time. just dont want to spend 900 on a converter that will continue to be pulled .

Myn is 9.5 inch and about a 4200-4400 stall. The stall speed is right on and has been everytime. I've never broken or been stranded by a P.I. converter. They just keep freakin leaking on me. On the other hand, I just blow yank converters to pieces. This truck has been through 4-5 pye converters. Honestly I would try another P.I. and just call them and let them know the problems you've had in the past, and maybe they can help you out.
