Myt ruck will have a 10" 3rd coast suspension lift when I get tired of going fast. lifted looks pimp but I wouldnt do it with your truck I would drop it and put the 22s on it.

Yea, im still stuck in between on which to do. Either way would be good for me cause i would never use 4wd anyways. Im still looking around to see what i like more and to get some prices. Either way, i think it will look good.

Well i always said if its 2wd, lower it and 4wd, lift it! I guess i kinda got off track somewhere. I just cant decide which one would be more fun. I guess lowering it on the 22's would be better for me gas mileage wise as i have to drive 45 miles rounds trip to work and back.... I still dont know though. I WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED!!! HAHAHA

Lowering will be cheaper.
Depends on the look you want and what you are going to do with it, I want my truck to handle decent so I put swaybars on it and its a 2WD so lifting wouldnt gain me much. Regular cabs look stupid if you lift them too much, they become taller then they are long and it looks like a toka truck. I would say do like a cheap lift block rear/spindle front and do a body lift then throw on some big tires and see how it looks.

I think sky high lifts look silly overall, but 12inches on a reg cab just looks silly.
33-35'' tires is my max. I dont even want anything more than my 33s.
superlow trucks look silly too. Moderation is key.

Well if i lift it, ill just run 35's or maybe 36's so it will still be practical. Id like to run at least an 18" rim and maybe even a 20" rim. I want them to be wider than 12.5" so maybe a 14" wide tire or something like that. I just like the look when the tires stick out just a little. It makes the truck look much more aggressive. Too much just looks goofy though.
00silverado: Thanks for the info. Ill look into the 7" lift you suggested and see what i can do. If i can clear 36's that would be primo!! Well ill let you guys know what i end up doing. Ive been tossing the idea back and forth so im not going to jump into it this week. Ill wait a few more weeks so i know for sure what i want to do. Thanks for the help guys!!!
