Is there any benifit to not locking the TC under full throttle?

Default Is there any benifit to not locking the TC under full throttle?

Allen has tunned my truck to where the torque converter will not lock under full throttle. Is this a benifit or disadvantage at the track?

It's a benefit to acceleration, but detrimental to top-speed, unless you're hitting the rev-limit in third at the far end of the track and NEED the extra mph that the locked converter might give you I'd keep it the way it is

AFAIK the PCM will unlock EVERY TCC at WOT (the max setting for this unlock code is 100% throttle).
