TH400 why does it do it?

Question TH400 why does it do it?

Ok got it rebuilt and told them to put .500 boost valve,stage 1 shift kit hd clutchs now it will not let the rpms go up the way it did be4 and when it shifts it is as smooth as a baby's bottom! with the shift kit i got told i would feel it! and when it shifts 2 to 3 it only let it go to 3200 rpms what do i need to check?

you need to hook up the kick down switch TH400 has electric not cable
kick down that or manual shift you put it in first and shift it manually
