Default Th350???

Well guys, I got the new converter, flexplate and th350 trans installed friday night. Full manual valve body and all the goodies. I gotta say, over the 4l80e, it night and day to me, feels like the 80e on 100 shot vs the th350 on motor. Anybody have suggestions on tailhousings that accept FACTORY SPEED SENSORS? Carl Rossler is the only guy i talked to yesteday who had it and knew what i was talkin about, Dave at yank said he used to make some but has not in a few years so any more info would be great. I'm also working on a shifter pin to bolt in the 350 to allow me to use the safety/neutral swith, i like **** to look factory!

Yea, we worked kinda slow and did it on the floor as i had the lift occupied(DAMMIT), lol it took us about 6 hours though from drivin with the 80 to driving with the 350. Give carl rossler a call, he makes em for a 350, maybe for a 400 too. Im lookin into a brake myself

i was on a built 4l60e with a tci 3000 converter,, 1.55 60' spraying 175 on forged 5.7, on that pass i ran out of bottle at the 1000' and started feathering it so it wouldnt spray but finish the pass on motor lol..

Sad thang is i never got to finish tuning it my afr was like 10.5 or something like that..

Not sure how the new setups gonna do, 5.3 heads cam intake front mount 72mm A/W th400 with brake and 410's in the rear wich ill change those after i get it running and make atleast 3 passes just for fun

have you tried Performabuilt?

Check this out: http://www.performabuilt.com/th350.html

it says $75. Maybe they will sell it to you without buying the tranny

Just use the front speed sensor, and modify the tune.

I was going to say the same thing. Pretty sure that the Fbody crew has been doing this for years.

They other way to do it is to get a BOP 6" tail and install a factory sensor and reluctor! You will have to install a new pig tail for the VSS connection. Vince
