Anyway, if you're on a budget, why are you going with a lockup TH400? That's big $$$ right there! Coverting a TH400 or TH350 to lockup involves a lot of modifications that can easily add $1500 to the over all price of the tranny, not including the electronics.
his first post, the first three words are "non lock up"

Oh...I thought he said lock up and that's why everybody went on the this whole lock up TC rant. My bad.

What about a Fuddle. I hear good things and they're priced more competitivley. Another thing to remembe about the Precision Industries is that you get 2 re-stalls for free I believe. That's a huge + in my book.

Mine diead after 10K with your mods plus a 100 shot. Even if you rag the hell out of it you arent really putting very much power through it.

I still wouldnt buy a TCI again just for the fact they make a shitty lock up clutch converter, makes you wonder what corner they cut in their non lockup.

I wouldn't hesitate getting a TCI non-lockup, they make a good converter.

I wish Vince from FLT would chime in on this.
I'm sure he has an opinion on the TCI TC's and what he would recommend for his application.
