Default TCI or VILGILANTE

Non lock up. I heard tci makes good TQ converters. My question is, is it worth the extra money to get the vigi ($750)? Tci ($350) Is the performance that much better? I was thinking of 2800 stall with a th400. I am still debaiting on doing the th400 and may be on a budget.

Vig, TCI sucks. My lockup clutch went out in my old one along with half a dozen others.

PI would be the choice of the 2.
I have not heard anything bad about the PI's-can't say that about TCI.

I have a PI vig 3200 in my truck... I love it... I have heard WAY too many bad things about the TCI's... converters are one of those things you need to pay for to get the good ones. dont skimp out and get the TCI IMO...
